I remember my parents putting me through piano lessons in elementary school. The problem was that the piano room was right off the school cafeteria, and my lessons were during lunch hour. Argh, but little did I know that decades later I would still have a hunger for music.
Whether it was playing tuba in high school bands, playing drums in swing choir, playing drums on the road in Blues bands, or recording my own compositions at Tin Can Music Studio, music is still a huge part of my life.
I was recently given a certificate of appreciation at the Kingman Unified School District Governing Board Meeting for donating proceeds from my holiday album to their music departments. Proud to be giving back to such a life long cause!
Congratulations Spider, It says a lot about a person's caricature that they are willing to give back.
