The genesis of "Red Barn Shuffle" began in the upper level of my brother’s barn in U.P. Michigan. To give it a Delta Blues feel, I used a bottle slide on dad’s old baritone ukulele. In the studio I then added my own piano & bass parts, whistling and naturally toe tapping. This song's license would be great for a documentary about pulling a vintage Airstream on a cross-country road trip! Enjoy, it's ok to tap your feet too!
